Today, a colleague asked me if I really want to be a teacher, because she can't really take it, but she is bound by the bond.
Yes, I decided to take up the Nie diploma because no other courses in local uni wants me. But I also wanted to be a teacher so I can help students who have to face problems at their age, because I've been there in primary school and my teachers were really supportive as well. After reading through the pupil profiling forms of all the at-risk students, I really feel for them.
Oh oh and the colleague was telling me how she hates the system where your students' results determine your pay which I gotta agree with her. What about character and values which are not reflected in their results?
